Choppy Playback | Mac | Premiere Pro 2025

I'm working with Macbook Pro and using Premiere Pro 2025. For the past month, the playback has been very choppy even when using (1/4) resolution. The footage I'm using is 4K, but I have enough RAM and have 350 GB avaialble on my hard drive. I cleared all my media cache as well. Any suggestions on how to improve or fix this problem?

Memory: 32 GB

Hi @davidh76528871 - Can you check your audio hardware settings and make sure Default Input is set to "No Input"
