A couple days ago, I experienced a weird thing in Premiere 22.2:
- I always organize my footage with different color labels to differentiate lets say interview a-cam, b-cam, b-roll, gfx etc.
Suddenly, all my labels went out the window and reset to the default iris (light blue).
Quite disturbing and annoying!!
Anyone has/had the same experience?
Any idea of troubleshooting this and prevent it?
Nope but you can check the setting under the wrench in the Timeline.

Hi, I know it's been a few months and a lot of updates to Premiere since this post.
I have had this problem as well and the setting is unchecked yet every now and then some or all of my labels reset to default. Any idea why this would happen?
I have never used that setting and didn't know it even existed till seeing this post. Learn something new every day.

Version 22.3.1 (Build 2)
Just tonight had Premiere dump all my color labels. (I never hit any setting, they were just gone at some point.) There's some really odd and destructive behavior with that timeline wrench. It did nothing in my project to the labels. I have software that makes a backup every time I hit save (in addition to auto-save) so I had a last-save project backup. In my backup, toggling OFF the wrench labels setting restored my labels. HOWEVER- if I toggle that setting again, it dumps the labels -sometimes randomly through the timeline, sometimes ALL of them, and then they don't come back. I can't edit without reliable labeling, as I need them to identify different takes, temp audio, animation cycles, revisions etc. Seems like a bug I hope gets fixed.

Once I hit the wrench button it all dissapears and ctrl+z does nothing, hitting the button again does nothing. Is there a keyboard shortcut that we accidently hit that makes us click the first wrench setting? I'm going to research this.
