Hi! I have a recurring problem in Premiere Pro: I label all my clips in the timeline with different colors before I start cutting a scene. And at some point, during the editing process Premiere Pro suddenly deletes the colors i assigned to the clips and they are all default blue again. I don't understand why and how this happens. I always have to start marking them again to know which clip is what. This takes hours. Can you tell me why this happens? 😞

Hi! Thank you for the fast response!
I don't think that is the problem. When I check that then everything is blue because the source files are all blue. I changed the color in the timeline for each clip individually. Sometimes they stay in the color i assigned but sometimes some of them suddenly change back. And "Undo" doesn't help.

You need that unchecked for being able to change the labels/colors for clips on one sequence against a different one.

I have just had the same issue as raphaelar15619474. My 'Show Source Clip Name and Label' was unchecked, but I still had this sudden colour label change. What could be going wrong?

Sorry, should say unchecked for individual colors on the timeline.
