Hi, I have a problem with all my clips showing up as "pending" INSIDE the project bin when opening up the project (see the attached image). Then after quite while, they slowly shows up as normal one by one. When all the clips have appeared, the timeline is slow, laggy and does often freeze.
I have not had this problem before, and it did just appear out of the blue. This is strange as I sit on a powerful workhorse of a computer that shouldn't have a speed issue. The specs is as follows:
- Windows 10 pro 64bit
- AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
- 128GB DDR4 ram
I've checked the gpu health status, and it seems fine. Also the cache and preview-files is stored on a sepperate high speed m2-drive with over 1000mbs speed. The source clips in the project is stored on a Qnap nas, connected to the computer through a 10 gigabit network connection, giving us around 700mbs write speed, and 1000mbs read speed. So there shouldn't any obious bottlenecks.
This is what I've tried to solve the issue without any success:
- Deleting unused cache files.
- Deleting all chache files.
- Reseting premiere settings and cache.
- Using "Mercury engine software only" renderer istead of the gpu.
- Updating premiere.
- Downgrading premiere.
- Updating the gpu studio driver.
- Downgrading the gpu studio driver.
- Un-enable all clips and then re-enabeling them.
- Setting the indexing and thumbnail generation on the server on pause.
- Creating proxies.
So a lot of the usual go-to methods doesnt work. Have anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know of a solution?
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Thomas

Make new project and import this one: see how that goes.
