close gap

Hi there,

Im trying to close the gap between clips but it will not work??

If there is media on a lower track, you can't use delete and close gap and will have to do it manually.

Which is the lower track? The V1 layer?

I removed everything from V1 and A1 but it still doesnt work

but if you lock the other tracks, you can use "ripple delete."

Exactly, and that's why it's mindbogelingly stupid that it doesn't work to apply close gaps when there is other layer on the bottom track. It doesn't work even if you lock the bottom track.
