Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me! I have a clip that I'm trying to colour correct in premiere pro beta. My issue is only the first 10 seconds of the 50 second clip needs colour correcting, and I can only see how to apply corrections to the whole clip, not just a part of it. If I apply the corrections to the whole clip, it changes colours and lighting later in the clip that I do not want. Is anyone kindly able to help me?

Thanks a bunch!

Hi,

There may be a quicker way. Razor cut on the clip position where you want the colour correction to apply. This will separate the clip. You can apply the correction where you need it. If the change is abrupt (from corrected to the non-corrected, use a 'disolve'  effect between both clips and adjust duration to blend smoother.

Good luck.

Razor the clip, color correct and add cross dissolve is imo the easiest way to go.

Moved to regular Premiere forum.
