Constantly adjusting position while video is playing?

Hi guys, would appreciate some help - I'm a premiere pro user but not adverse to using other software.

I've got a video of a soccer match which is approximately 3840x1080p, very similar to this one - https://download.actionstitch.com/full-demo.mp4

It has been made by stitching two Go Pro videos together. I want to "follow" the ball by editing the position and scale in Premiere Pro. I currently put the video ins a 1920x1080p frame, press play for a few seconds, pause, adjust the position coordinates then press play, and repeat. Given a match is 90+ minutes long, this is taking an absolute age.

Is there a way I can do this while the video is playing? For example I click a pixel on the screen where the video is playing and that becomes centred? Many thanks

You can try using Auto Reframe, though it hasn't been working very well lately.  It's mainly designed for going from horizontal to vertical versions, but there's no reason not to give it a try in your situation.  May give you a good first draft.
