Corrupted video when importing to premiere

Hello everyone,

When importing a video to premiere from desktop/downloads folder it seems as if the video keeps on getting cut-off/janky but when played on the downloads folder the video seems to be ok.

Another thing is, when exporting the video it seems to be fine when converted to an .mp4 video. The only problem I'm facing is when editing and transferring files to premiere.

Here is a g drive link and attached is a video for better understanding.

Hi there!

Sorry about the issue. Would you mind sharing your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)?  Does it happen on specific files? What's the source of the media files?

Thanks,

Kartika
