cpu usage while editing

when i editng  i set my palyback resolution at full my cpu  usage 100% is this normal ?

High CPU usage might be expected behavior depending on how intensive the rendering task is. Could you let us know the properties of the source files (Frame size, codec, frame rate) and what effects you are using in your sequence?
