crackling audio

The audio is cracking in my time line and in my exports. there is nothing wrong with that recording and the audio is not peeking, i also have crossfade on all audio. I am using premiere pro version 24 and also using h264 mp4 codec. Please help me 😞

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

Convert clips to edit friendly codec before bringing it into Premiere.

Are clips vfr?

Set sequence settings audio same as clips.
