Crashing on every move

Today I've encountered a crashing problem.

It started with trying to make an edit in a project and it crashing every few edits to subtitles to now being unable to load said project without an error report showing up.

I've tried all these https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/premiere-pro/kb/startup-screen-hangs-premiere-after.html

I'm running on Mac Pro.

Is it the new update? I've tried going back to an older version but the three dots do not appear for me in the Adobe Cloud app.

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

What are the hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

Hi Jo26660015j84t,

We're sorry to hear about this. Let us know the exact version of Premiere Pro that you are using & the system specs. Also, are you experiencing this issue with any specific project or multiple projects? If it's with any specific project, try these steps & check if it helps.

  • Create a new project & navigate to Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout
  • Window > Workspaces > uncheck Import Workspace from Projects
  • File > Import, navigate to the project file you were working with & import it.

Once imported, save this new project & check if it's working properly.

Thanks,

Sumeet
