Creating a new project takes a few minutes!

Hello,

My system has 32 GB of RAM and uses an SSD hard drive and an NVIDIA RTX graphics card. I have a problem with Adobe Premier. When I want to create a new project, it takes a few minutes to create the project. I also cleared the Media Cache, but it didn't help. My Adobe Premiere version is 24.5.0.

How do I troubleshoot this problem?

How old is your computer? What operating system are you using?

That's just odd. It takes a couple seconds on my desktop or laptop.

Which specific CPU and GPU is in use there? How many drives are internal, any external drives in use?

I think I have partially understood the problem. The problem is from the Essential Graphics panel. When this panel is open, it takes time to create a new project. Why and where is the problem?

Good sleuthing, good question.

Several users have reported that having the EGP open can slightly to drastically slow Pr down.  No clue why, and perhaps you can search the forum for bug reports on EGP slowing things down, and upvote them. Adding your data to the mix.
