Just updated to 23.2.0 Build 69.
The red handle quick trim is broken. Selecting a transition works fine, but Premiere drops out of trim mode and deselects the tranition after one press of the keyboard shortcut.
Tried creating a fresh keyboard shortcut template, but still broken.
Running on iMac Retina 5K 27 Late 2015 / Quad i7 / 32GB / Monterey 12.3.
Thanks!

Only happens at clip / empty timeline boundary - roller trims between clips work fine.

Same here, both my MacBookPro system and PC desktop. Happens with keyboard shortcut and in trim tool window. But seems to only happen at the end of a clip, not the beginning of a clip with an empty timeline. Happened with update from 23.0 to 23.2.

Composite Preview during Trim unchecked?

Composite Preview during Trim checked or unchecked, doesn't matter. Also, keep in mind, it only happens on the tail of a clip and empty timeline, not the head of the clip.

It alwayse hapen when you hit the "Trim Foward" or " Trim Backward" short cut on the tail end of a clip that is not connected to another. Insted to stay in Trim Mode and let you trim the clip as usual it just quite Trim Mode.
Here's a video example:

Seeing this too, only on tail of clips (video or audio). Beginning of clips it works as expected.

Same here, both on my Intel iMac and my M1 Macbook Pro. Just tried Premiere Pro 23.3 and it's not fixed.

I wrote a bug report for this, surprised they haven't fixed it. The fact that in trim mode, and rolling edit mode, we cannot nudge an edit backward or forward is unacceptable! This is a key editing feature. The only way around it right now, is to select the edit point, right click, and select "TRIM OUT". We tested this on every editor's workstation in my facility, and all users have this issue. Adobe, please address this!
