Data drop outs. Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening?

I open a project, not terribly large or anything. After the timelilne has been open for a bit my program screen goes white with black marks and lines in it. See photo. Sometimes I can render the timeline and mp4 playback is fine. Other times, the output file goes haywire 2/3 of the way through. Closing everything and restarting the computer (Macbook pro, 2019 Intel 8 core 64 Ram. Screen shot attached.

Thanks in advance!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

There have been other threads here about Mac users with the same issue.

LATEST

It seems to be mostly with Mac users on the latest OS with MacBooks, I think. And for some has been an overheated GPU issue, but not necessarily the case for all. It's been frustrating watching this and seeing the trouble even troubleshooting it.
