Different colors on the same clip in the Source and Program monitors

Why are there different colors on the same clip when viewed in the Source and Program monitors, and when the clip has no color edits to it?

Color space mismatch.

 

Your clip, sequence, and export color spaces need to be the same.

 

You have an HLG clip probably, or some log format. You need to right-click the clip in the Project panel, Modify/Interpret Footage, set the Override-to option to Rec.709.

 

Then make sure you have a Rec.709 sequence color space, and use standard SDR export options that do not have HLG or PQ in the sequence name.
