Disappearance of the "Color Balance" effect from the "Color Correction" tab - Adobe Premiere Pro V23

Hello community,
I went from a 2.4Ghz 8-core Intel Core i9 MacBook Pro to an Apple M2 Max Macbook Pro.
I have an Adobe Premiere Pro project in progress where I used a "Color Balance" filter that works on my old MacBook Pro and unfortunately that filter shows "Missing" on my new MacBook Pro when it wasn't not displayed obsolete. While I did a clean install of my software from my Time Machine. Can I find and copy this filter somewhere or has it been discontinued with the new apple chip, do you have any solution? The settings of this filter are very precise and, if necessary, in addition to the color lumetri. I can no longer use the "Color Balance" effect on my new Mac. How do I report something to Adobe Premiere programmers if it's a bug or an effect that hasn't been re-released for the new Apple chip?

I use the same version of Adobe Premiere Pro V23.6 on my old Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i9 8 core and my new Macbook Pro Apple M2 Max.

I tried everything, from clearing the cache memory, to reinstalling Adobe Premiere Pro, nothing helped. On my Macbook Pro Apple M2 Max the "Color Balance" effect has disappeared in the "Color Correction of Adobe Premiere Effects" tab.

With my editing project I switch to the old Macbook Pro and I find the "Color Balance" effect and as soon as I open the same project on my new Macbook Pro the "Color Balance" effect is noted as missing and disappears from the software, Bizarre isn't it?

Adobe would be too stupid to make this effect disappear with the new M2 chip that many editors still use. So would an Adobe expert have the answer to this problem?

Hello, does anyone know if the "color balance" effect was dropped on adobe premiere pro with the new apple m2 processors, or is it a software bug. I got no response from the Adobe community? does anyone know this problem? Please see the discussion for the description of my problem. I have to finish my editing quickly and have no solution, except to redo the integrity of my calibration otherwise when it was finished. Thank you for your help.

As has been stated in their documentation, and on the forums, here, for years now: NONE of the effects in the Obsolete bin will ecer have their code be updated or rewritten. Period.

And at some point, we're told, they will simply disappear. I actually expected that a couple years ago. Those effects have been carried forward longer than I thought they would.

The new Apple chips use different code, which is exactly what ain't gonna happen. As stated, they will not be re-writing new code.

So the Obsolete bin effects are gone on any new Mac chip machines.

But I did my own checks and found that only the "Color Balance (RGB)" filter was indeed in the deprecated folder. The filter I use is "Color Balance", it is different and independent from the other "Color Balance (RGB) filter. And this "Color Balance" filter was never in the obsolete folder and that even in the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro V23.6 which I was using on my Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i9 8 core.So why is this filter missing on my Macbook Pro Apple M2 Max?
This is an aberration because this "Color Balance" filter does appear in the online user guide of the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro (Adobe Premier Pro User Guide -> Video Effects and Transitions -> Effects -> Color Correction Effects -> Color Balance effect: The Color Balance effect changes the amount of red, green, and blue in the shadows, midtones, and highlights of an image.)

So there is indeed a problem on Adobe's part concerning this effect which has not been removed from the Adobe Premiere Pro guide and which is absent when using a Mac running an Apple M2 Max processor. At no time did Adobe announce the removal of this effect. I am appalled.

Can an Adobe Premiere Pro user on Mac Apple M2 Max tell me if the "Color Balance" effect is also missing?

I'm trying to contact an Adobe expert to try to resolve this issue.

wow great! Problem solved !

I had an Adobe assistant and then an English-speaking Adobe technician who took over my computer and was able to solve my "Color Balance" effect disappearance problem.

Here's what to do:

In fact the "Color Balance" effect may still be usable with new Macs with new Apple M2 Max processors and others. If this effect was noted as missing, it is because it can only be used with Intel processors. So you have to go to Adobe Premiere application and click on read info, then just check on "Open with Rosetta" tab.

I hope that in the future this effect will still be present in Adobe Premiere because it is very useful in addition to "Color Lumetri".

I can finish my editing serenely without having to redo my calibration.

There have always been a couple things that are different between Macs & PCs, and most of us have trouble remembering them ... but this is an issue between two different Mac codings, even. Wow!
