Hello everyone,

I just installed Motion Array extension in Premiere Pro 2023, I downloaded a couple of free presets just to see how it works, but after downloading I cannot find them in the effects panel.

I just see a Motion Array folder in the Project panel.

can anybody help me please?

Hi BigWolfenstein,

Sorry about that. I'm not sure what's going on, but in some cases, you need to import a project file not a transition. These project files are needed to create a "transition style effect" made from a group of nested clips and adjustment layers. They are never actual transitions, and therefore, cannot be found in the Effects panel. Guessing you need to go to Window -> Extensions -> Motion Array.

Yeah, I did it, and then I downloaded a free transition. But the issue is that I cannot find that transition in the effects panel, as said in many tutorials.

It would help if foundries like that would not refer to these as transitions as that can be quite confusing to someone looking up transitions in the documentation. Check out the guide for the effect to see if that might hold some clue as to how to set up these transition style effects. If this guidance is off the mark, be sure to let us know.

Ok I got it, I downloaded a couple of presets.

They are pretty cool but not really easy to use as transitions, I am going to look for some tutorial.

Thanks a lot for the support
