Hi, noobie here...
when i duplicate a video-track (just by alt + drag) the new video-track is jammed in between the original video-track and its audio-track audio - which remain linked ?!?!?! i can only assume this is beneficial to hollywood movie producers as its so counter intuitative.
Anyone know how to change the settings so PPro behaves as it did many years ago - where duplicated video tracks would happily sit on whatever track you chose, without moving the audio&video linked original tracks ?

i tried every combination of alt+drag, ctrl+c->ctrl+v, turning on/off V1/V2 targeting, locking, etc...
Solution: select your clips, alt+drag to V3, then drag 'copies' which are now on V1, upto V2, and finally drag the original (linked to audio) clips on V3 back down to V1.
Thank you adobe designers - absolute geniuses. - thanks for conforming to windows standards and habits. You wouldnt want to frustrate your customers now, would you ?!

Yikes, so angry for a 'noobi'.
With nothing selected, hold down alt.
(alt-)click just the video clip
then, with the alt still down, drag the video clip to the track you want.

@MyerPj Hey there, thanks for chiming in! It seems like the method is effective for most users, but for the specific problem at hand.
