This programme has eaten up about 350 gb of disk space and the support phone/remote search cannot help me. I have rinsed out the media cache files. This is out of no more than 10 gb of original video that i have put on the computer and edited. I am at my wit's end and hate this program now. What do I do to find and delete the files. Will reinstall the computer using time machine but when i am backing it up now it is doing a backup of all the 350 GB extra files too. WHERE THE ARE THE FILES????

What do I do to find and delete the files.

1. Go to Edit>Preferencs>Media Cache and note the location.

2. Go to File>Project Settings>Scratch Disks and note those locations.

3. Open Windows Explorer and go to those locations.

Go to File>Project Settings>Scratch Disks and note those locations.

It says "same as project" on all of those. How do I know what I can delete in the project folder?

You can delete the entire Media Cache folder and Media Cache Database folders.   They will be automatically recreated by Premiere Pro.

I've deleted the Media Cache folder before and it gets rid of about 45 GB. And it only keeps up to 50 GB there so that does not explain my issue with 350 GB disk space.

What is in Media Cache Database?

If you go to Media Cache tab in your Preferences (under Edit) you will find the path to your Media Cache Database.
