My setup: windows pc - premiere pro - scarlett focusrite 2i2 2nd generation - rode-mic! And it's the same with macbook pro! What am I doing wrong? Maybe you can help me!? Thanks!!!!!

You don't hear the other audio tracks playing? You should, as it will only mute your input source on the output.

There is always latency to the output involved when using the voice over recording on the timeline, that's why you have the option to mute the recording input form appearing in the output.

If this is a problem and you need to hear your voice in your headphones while recording, record audio in Audition or other audio dedicated software - or record on a stand alone recorder and ingest that recording into Premiere.

Thank you very much! But for sure I want to hear my voice while recording... Whay is ther always latency to the ouput? In my broadcast station, there is none... so I try to have the same conditions in my home studio! You think it is only possible with audition?

Hi,

i have the same issue here. Started with Premiere Pro 2025 and windows 11.  Never had any issue with Windows 10 and Premiere 2024. No I always have a delay on my mic input via headphones. Is there any solution? Could it help to change some settings in Windows 11? Or the latency in Premiere?

Does not solve the problem. I have this box unchecked since day one in the past.
