Hello Adobe Community

Please help?

Is there a way to edit (color grading and the like) only a portion of clip? I have 20 minutes of footage and the only parts that require improvement are minutes 2-4 and 15-18.

Thank you in advance!

This is pretty basic editing stuff... very easy.

The most obvious way would be to use your razor tool to cut the clip into different sections. Place a cut at the beginning and end of each of your sections you need to alter. If you need more gradual change, then you may need to keyframe the changes... don't use the razor at all; leave it as one long clip but keyframe your changes from 0% to 100% and back down, etc. where needed.

or rather than keyframing, use the razor tool and then add dissolves at the edit points to gradually transition between color correcitons.   Sometimes this is easier than keyframing.
