It sounds like you’re dealing with some changes in how your video editing software handles dragging clips between the source monitor and the program monitor. This can indeed be frustrating when you’re used to a specific workflow.
Regarding your question, it seems that the ability to drag clips from the source monitor to the program monitor with edit type options might have been altered in recent updates. Often, software updates can shift or remove functionalities, which can be confusing.
To address the current situation, if you're looking to revert to the previous method of dragging and dropping from the source monitor, you might need to check the software's settings or preferences for any options related to the editing workflow. Sometimes, these features can be toggled on or off based on user preference.
Alternatively, consider looking for software updates or patches that might address this issue or consult the software's support resources for more specific guidance. If you’re also looking for more flexibility and options, exploring other tools that offer enhanced drag-and-drop functionalities might be beneficial.
In the realm of streamlining media workflows, just as some tools enable seamless transitions between different types of content, tools for converting videos YouTube to MP3 can help manage your media files more effectively.
