Editing subtitles is more difficult in the updated Premiere 2025

Previously, editing was easier. When selecting all subtitle tracks with the '(A)' tool, modifications were not possible in properties panel.

Must have selected more than just the caption.

Screenshot is kind of fuzzy looks like the clip has also been selected.

Did you use the shift key on the Select Forward tool?

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here. If you are referring to not being able to change the font and subtitles color , those options are now in the properties panel. You can find that in the windows/ Properties. See attached screen shot.
