Effects window won't stay zoomed in

I'm keyframing several clips. When I select a clip the effects window is zoomed out. I have to zoom in to make the adjustment I want. When I select a different clip in the timeline and return to the effects window it's zoomed out again. How can I zoom into a set of keyframes and keep the window zoomed in? I hope this makes sense.

This is normal, whenever you click on a clip n the timeline, the effect controls panel's

timeline will stretch to the full length of the clip.

you can also right click on the clips containig keyframes on the editing timeline and

choose 'show clip keyframes', this way zooming the timeline will be the same for all.

If you have a large number of clips for which you want to reveal all keyframes and 

edit them at once by selecting all or something, these are faster done inside After Effects,

or, submit a 'feature request'.

This would be something like add an animation timeline or improve the effect controls panel timeline.
