Essential Graphic Crash MacOS

New Here ,
Jan 18, 2024 Jan 18, 2024
Premiere works fine for me UNTIL I try opening a window for Essential Graphics. Then I get spinning wheel crashes every time.
  • MacOS and Premiere updated to latest versions.
  • I cleared Media Caches and Reset Settings.
  • I have over 50% of free disk drive on my 500GB SSD hard drive.
  • I've backtracked any MOGRTS installed and systematically removed them one by one.
  • I did an uninstall and fresh install.
  • Tried deleting the files in the motion graphic templates folder inside the Application Support Folder.
Still happening... Any ideas??

Hey @Emma34540840vjys ,

Ooof, sorry about that, that's super frustrating. I need a little bit more information from you so I can try to reproduce it, get a bug filed, and sent off to the devs to fix:

  • Premiere Pro version number

  • Operating system version number

  • Are you getting the crash report dialog? If so, please make sure you check the checkbox and input your email address into it, click Send Report. Then DM me your email and I can search for your report.

  • Does it happen with a new project, an existing project, or both? If it's a specific project, where is it located (local, cloud, etc)
  • Can you walk me step by step how your project looks before opening the Essential Graphics panel (ie: What panels are open, do you create new sequence, import footage, etc.)
  • If possible, can you package up the project prior to opening the EGP and DM a link to me?

Thanks,

Theresa
