Essential Graphics changes made in Comparison View aren't saved

If i open Comparison View and make some changes in the Essential Graphics (Basic Correction) they aren't saved. As soon as i close Comparison View all changes (or at least the last one) are undone. Changes are made in an Adjustment Layer, not for a specific clip.

Can anyone confirm?

Comparison view is designed to match videoclips.

Why does it matter if i edit a clip or an adjustment layer while in comparison view? It's just a way of showing different points within the timeline side-by-side. Why should there be any restrictions to what/how i'm editing while comparison view is active?
