When I create a new caption style and then attempt to either save it as a new Track Style or else Push to All Captions on Track, it does not save the Align and Transform properties. So positioning of the captions does not apply to other captions on the track.
When you create a new style, it should be applied to all the captions on the track. If you find that it is not working, post a screenshot and provide more information about what alignment is not sticking.
