Export NTSC project to PAL DVD

Hi All,

We recently produced an NTSC DVD for a client. The footage was all shot with a Mini-DV camcorder. They've come back and asked if we could produce a PAL DVD from the same project to send to someone in Europe. Is this possible within PP? I've seen some posts on the 30p to 25p conversion being very problematic.

Thanks

Export the same way you exported to NTSC, but choose a Pal preset.

Most PAL dvd players will play NTSC discs. I have done a number of  dvds and blurays shot in PAL and then converted to NTSC for the final discs so that one version could be sold worldwide.

Correct, PAL players will playback NTSC discs.

(I have not even heard of one PAL player that cannot playback NTSC discs though i live in PAL land. Maybe in the early, early days with players from the late 90´s.)
