exporting 4K footage as 1280x720

I have shot 4K video in order to animate footage (pan, zoom, rotation) within 1280x720 sequence. It looks great in the preview window of PP, but render looks bad. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Zorro,

Could you add the exported video to your Timeline and check if you still see the difference? Is there any specific reason you want to export the video in 1280x720? Please share your export settings if you see the difference after importing to Premiere Pro.

thank you for the response.

I tried same experiment with 4K footage from my iPhone and render looks perfect.

So, the problem is drone footage.

I think it's caused by VBR. that DJI drones produces

If you meant VFR, not VBR, many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:
