Exporting media of seemingly any kind (even when sending it to media encoder) never finishes exporting. It always gets stuck on 99% or 100% (Always!) and makes my computer overheat. I'm using the most up to date version 25.2.3 (build 4) on MacOS sequoia 15.5 (2019 21.5 inch iMac). The weird thing is, when i check my finder window, the exported media file is usually there and plays fine most of the time, but in app i have to click cancel on the export pop up window, otherwise it stays like that forever and overheats my computer.
Are there any workarounds for this? It's doing my head in. Not sure why this is still an issue; update after update...

Pause it and then restart it.

Could it be a corrupt video fie that you're trying to export? Maybe try exporting some simple text and only and individual video files to try to troubleshoot and see if that works.
I'm sorry that you're going through this.

Hi afroman6000,
We're sorry to hear about this. Have you applied any third-party effects to the clips in the timeline? What are your export settings, and have you tried exporting in any other format to check if it's exporting properly? We're here to help, just need more info.
Thanks,
Sumeet
