Exporting not working correctly ?

Community Beginner ,
Aug 03, 2023 Aug 03, 2023

When I edit my project everything is set to fit the scale and in the exporting preview everything looks fine as well. I have never had a problem before this with exporting. However, now when I export a video and view it on my media player it is all zoomed in. I have tried a lot of different things changing the frame size, changing the export settings, I even reset all the settings to default and nothing has worked.

You can use the free MediaInfo program to get info on your clips. Get the program from the link below and using the 'Tree' view post a screenshot of your exported clip's info: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download

Could this be causing an issue ? The 1st picture is how it looks when I'm editing and the 2nd shows what happens when I double click on the clip and it opens that new window , im not sure what it is called.

It looks like your clip may be HD, but the picture are is smaller and surrounded by black, to fill in the rest to HD. How did you get the clip to fill the screen, did you increase the Scale?

No, the 2nd photo, with the black border around the main picture.

BTW: Scale to frame size is a bad option. SET to Frame Size is much better as it leaves the original pixels available for, perhaps zooming in without quality loss.
