Faulty import of .mov from Canon 70D

Premier Pro Version 12.1 Build 186

I have had no success in importing .mov files shot on a Canon 70D.

The result is a miss-scanned mess shaded green and purple.

The files play perfectly in VLC, SMPlayer and Windows Media Player. Media Info shows that it is an MP-4 container with the following video section:

Apparently Adobe dropped support for "legacy" quicktime based codecs with the v12+ releases:

Thank you for that, but I've tried transcoding using AviDemux to various other formats to no avail.

What format are you trans-coding to?  Did you try an H.264 flavor with Handbrake, (you also convert using VLC).
