I have this issue, in Premiere Pro CS6, when I have added some files, (Video, Images) and done some editing, clicking file (to export or import) causes the program to freeze. I went ahead and downloaded the trail of CC 2018 to see if it happens there as well. It does. And it happened on my PC before I reinstalled the OS. It never happened on my old hardware (which I upgraded the hardware on to its current state). If I close out, and open the file up. I can press the file button and use the menu fine. But if I do anything, as small as moving a clip, it causes the program to freeze.

Thanks

I'll add that this doesn't happen in any other Adobe program.

Andromeda,

Make sure you have adequate drive space for your export. Also, ensure your drive is formatted correctly if that's the hardware you updated.

Thanks,

Kevin

I am having this exact same problem. I do anything in the sequence it just crashes. I've tried updating the software. I have tried restarting my computer, I have checked my drivers, I have reinstalled Premier but it crashes all the same. whats bizarre is I've used adobe for a few years and I was just using it a few days ago. I haven't changed anything on Adobe or my PC
