Flat clips importing blue

I choose a S-Log clip and then import the clip into my sequence. Everything turns very blue. I'm sure this is something silly, I'm missing but I'm stumped.

Premiere 2022 and forward have a completely different underlying color system than the old Rec.709 based system of the past. And unfortunately, it oft now sees a log-encoded file and assumes the file is meant to be displayed in HLG/HDR.

Practical steps:

 

Go to the project panel, select one or more clips.

Right-click/Modify/Interpret Footage.

Go to the bottom, the Override to ... option.

Set the Override option to Rec.709.
