I have reset preferences and have not had the issue since. Having said that, it will be a few days before I could say it has resolved the issue. I have also received a response on the Adobe PP Editore facebook saying: Matt Christensen
We (Adobe) are aware of this issue and working on a fix. It looks like the issue started with version 22.3, so if this issue is preventing you from working, one option is to use the Creative Cloud application to roll back to version 22.2.
