I used another program to remove all of the I-frames from a video file to create a datamoshing effect. When I try to import the file into Premiere Pro, it tells me it is an unsupported compression type. Is there any way to bypass this?

This is the first time I have heard of this technique, but a quick research revealed that probably After Effects is better suited for this type of processes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXkZmhc3IOA

I'm not sure, but using the other program you may have purposely damaged the file beyond repair which is why you get the import error in Premiere pro. Hope you still have the source material so you can achieve the effect with this plugin in Ae.

Hope this helps.
