Hey folks, wonder if anyone has had this issue.
Currently on the last episode of a short doc series. It's a two camera shoot and the A cam has started having moments of audio disappear. It's a Canon C200. So we're dealing with .mxfs at 4k.
I noticed that a few sections of audio simply 'disappeared' when reconnecting to original media. So I can hear the audio when switching to the proxy, but when attempting to render, either from media encoder or from within Premiere - the audio gaps persist.
There is an error message saying that there are 'frame **** error' substitutions' going on. I have attempted to
a) reimport these specific clips from media browser
b) copy the file to a new folder, then reimport
c)cleared media cache
d)re-open the same project from a different hard drive
e) trashed Premiere prefs and plug in cache
d) contact Adobe! The tech was unsuccesful, they will call back in 48hrs hopefully
I did notice that my after trying to reopen the same project from a different drive, that the original problem clip was fine ...BUT the same problem has occurred on a different moment of audio, on a different .mxf.
Yeah, bewildering. Especially sucks when the project is so close to completion.
Any other similar experience or tips welcomed.

Updated to premiere 22.2 (latest build today). The Adobe tech also attempted reopening in an older version of Premiere.Rawhiti Prob 1 - but without issue.jpgRawhiti Prob 1.jpg

Do any of your raw that you're having problems with  have the same name as other files in your project?? If so, perhaps renaming a duplicate file name might help.
