freezing for 2 - 3 seconds after extending or trimming a clip in timeline!!

this is driving me crazy, 

 

some layers in the timeline just freezes the entire project after i extend them with the mouse. 

and some others just doesnt ! 

 

I tried quite literally everything. and i mean EVERYTHING.

 

from changing my settings to resetting my prefrences to disabling HW acceleration to changing the motherboard and the CPU of my pc. NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING FIXED THIS ISSUE EVEN A CLEAN RENSTALLATION OF WINDOWS !!! I cant edit normally anymore. PLEASE HELP

No Need. It's an issue that accures in every single 4k project no matter the Codec or the video being edited nor the sequence settings. turns out it's jsut a performance issue from your end.

the issue is always present at the last horizontal layer. so just add a punch of adjustment layers at the end of your timeline and disable them, boom! the issue is gone. please report this to the devs so it get's fixed. thanks for your reply

@Abdulrahman3180241456i5 can you try disabling the effects in the Adjustment Layer and see if it has an effect on the issue? Also, are you using Transmit to view on a second monitor? If so, can you try disabling it and see if that helps. Hopefully we can narrow this down and resolve the issue.
