From doc to srt

Hi

i used one app or free online conversion earlier to convert doc into srt 

but now i cant remember 

any suggestion please

An SRT file is a plain text (.txt) file with the .srt file extension.

If the .doc file is formatted correctly (sample below) and open in Microsoft Word, save the .doc as plain text.  Then in the Finder or Explorer change the file extension from ".txt" to ".srt".  It does not have to be Word.  Any application that supports saving a .doc file as plain text will work.

 

Sample formatting for SRT time index:

00:00:01,800 --> 00:00:07,600
here

00:00:33,800 --> 00:00:40,800
you are

 

 

You can test the resulting SRT by importing it to Premiere Pro (File > Import) and adding it to a Timeline (ideally one that has the video that it corresponds to).
