since the update my premier pro froze and im unable to save my project and im scared to close the app and risk losing my project.

Sorry about the trouble. Can you share your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)? Do you see any error codes or messages? 

Have you tried deleting cache files and resetting preferences?
