Does anyone know why changing the display gamma to 1.96 QuickTime doesn't change anything in the video? Only in the timeline panel it changes correctly, in the thumbnails.

I can't tell whether you're in the Program monitor or Source monitor, and they would perhaps be different.

 

And what is your machine? Your other CM settings in full ... basically, a screen grab of the entire Lumetri Settings tab, with all the sections twirled 'open'.
