Hi

See image attached. If  I scrub, I can see my video, but when I stop, I get this white corruption. Is there a way tio fix this?

Are you seeing this paused frame garbage preview on a Mac or Windows system? I am guessing it is a Mac because it looks like the same type of garbage frame that a couple of other Mac users have reported. And, specifically, it has been Mac systems with Intel Core processors. In those cases, this problem goes away after the computer is restarted, but is seen to occur around two to three times a month. I have been running lots of tests in attempt to reproduce this failure and have been unsuccessful so far. So any details that you can provide on this would be welcome; Processor, Graphics, OS version, were you transmitting the preview to a second monitor, what file format has this preview issue, any other insight that you feel is relevant?

Sorry that you are experiencing this issue. We appreciate any additional information that you can provide.

Hi,

This is not going away on restart. This is not a second monitor, but it is a monitor plugged in to my Laptop:

16-inch, 2019 Macbook Pro

2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9

AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Mac OS 14.5 (23F79)

File format is MOV from my iPhone, but I've used this formate in the past and it works fine on other files

Are you using both the MacBook Pro monitor and the plugged in monitor? Or is the MacBook Pro closed and you are only using the plugged in monitor along with external mouse and keyboard? Do you know if this issue still happens when the external monitor is not connected to the MacBook Pro?

Thanks again for the information.

Hi I've used it both ways with laptop open and closed. Does not make a difference. I do not know if it still happens with the monitor unplugged. It would be near impossible for me to see the screen, but I can try it

OK just tried it with the monitor unplugged and it started working correctly. I then plugged the monitor back in and now my movie is showing up properly on screen.

I have tried to reset the system of my MacBook, I have tried to reset also Premiere and also to take Premiere 1 previous version but nothing change. Still have the problem. Right now I'm using my old laptop 6 years old and works as fast as my macbook

This is happening to me, as well, on a 2019 MacBook Pro.  It's so frequent that I'm unable to finish any of my projects. I've lowered the resolution, restarted, reinstalled, cleared the cache, etc... it's not going away.  I hope there is a fix to it.

It appears to be fine when I disconnect the external monitor. Not ideal, but at least I can move forward for now.
