Gif export has black lines on sides

The gif export from a .mov file has black key lines on the left and right side of the image. How do I get rid of these?

Place two copies of it on lower video tracks and shift the position slightly left on one track and slightly right on the other track.

Use the crop effect to crop the left and right sides slightly on the original, topmost track.
