Gradient Color Captions

Just saw an interesting video on Premier Captions, with Gradient color applied to captions fill color, with no explanation on how it was done. Anyone know how? Please See attached image.

Same way, you would give a shape a gradient color.

Open Fill and choose Gradient.

Would like to see Stroke with the option to make a gradient or Sheen for that matter.
