Having issues with Copy / Paste and tracks

Before this last update and as it's always been. When I have a clip copied and want to paste it onto the timeline I can select the track I wanted to paste it onto. Now it's defaulting to track one only.

If I lock track one it'll just go up to track two and so on but not as quick and easy as the previous method.

They changed the DEFAULT paste result in 22.5:

https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/whats-new/2022-5.html#paste-same-track

The change adds a keyboard shortcut to paste to the targeted track, but it is unassigned.

But you can also reassign the shortcuts so it works the old way.

This also tripped me up. I should see if @Sumeet Kumar Choubey can add it to the new features notes. I would, but I'm currently on extended leave. 🙂

Thanks,
Kevin

lol. Yes, here's my post, in response to a thread started by @jeffb56004601, who thought he might be "crazy," where I wondered if I should feel "stupid." After all, I paid close attention to this in the Beta!
