Whenever I copy audio from one sequence and paste it to another, it looks like I'm having a bug that causes the audio levels to spike tremendously. When i look at the audio settings, it shows that they are at the standard level. I thought it was a bug with the version I was using but I just updated the app and the issue still continues.
Are you using Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, or something else? Please let us know and we will be happy to move your post from Using the Community to the appropriate forum where you are more likely to get help with your issue.
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
Go to Window > Audio Track Mixer for the sequence you're pasting into, and check that the Mix track (on the far right) isn't turned up above 0. Sometimes it can accidentally get dragged up in the timeline.
