I have been recording solo piano into Logic.  Sound is great.  But when I import it into Premiere Pro to sync with my iPhone video --- the audio is MUCH louder.   How can I keep it the same? Thank you.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

You could select the clip, right-click select Audio Gain, and maybe max peak to -6dB.

Thank you! That seemed to help!

I’m still not sure why the quality of the audio is affected when dragging it in. ?

There is so much more nuance in Logic and it seems to get lost inside Premiere Pro?

Any thoughts?

I don't know about the other app, maybe they have an auto-gain adjustment or something.

Premiere simply plays media as the file exists. The app has no overall volume/levels settings So it is playing that audio at the level it is, with your system audio set for the loudness it is set to.
