Home Page Recent Projects - Remove NOT delete

I have 2 project in my home screen that i have not opened in 2 months. They sit at the top of most recent on the home page. I have done about 10 projects since these 2 but they are stuck at rhe top of the list. 

How do i get rid of them without deleting them?

Click the Recents column header. That will reverse the sort and put the most recent projects you've opened at the top.

maybe try moving project files to a different location?  Just a guess
