Home Window - opening a project takes many clicks

From 22.6 onwards, on Windows, I've found a single click or a double click doesn't open a project from the Home / Welcome Window - it take 3-4 clicks. 22.4 didn't have this, not sure about 22.5

Specs:

Prem 22.6.2 (but also saw on 22.6)
Windows 10

AMD Threadripper 3960x

128GB RAM
Nvidia 2060 Super 8GB VRAM

Well have you tried just double clicking on the project file?   The result is the same...  I think.  I keep all my premiere projects in a folder that's automatically mirrored on dropbox, and that folder's easily accesible...
