I updated Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder to the latest 24 Versions, and they will not open on my secondary system that is running Windows 10. I was able to run version 23, but as soon as the 24 update happened, I was not able to open any video editing programs running 24 versions.
I have three .dmp files, but can't figure out what they mean, and what could be causing this issue of not being able to open the programs.
Hey Dan,
Sorry for the crash. Please check if your GPU drivers are up-to-date. If you're using an NVIDIA GPU, we recommend using the Studio Driver. If you are still experiencing crashes, please let us know if a specific action triggers them and when exactly they happen (while the splash screen is loading or after the app loads).
Thanks,
Ishan
Downloading Davinci Resolve solved the problem. I guess it updated all the Blackmagic drivers and fixed the problem.
I now have a different problem with my other editing system where only the Premiere Beta is fast enough to edit on. For some reason, the Public versions are so slow to the point where I can't even zoom in on the timeline or move any clips around or do anything without a 1-2 second delay.
The Beta version is lightning-fast. I am not sure what the difference in software configuratio

The Beta version is lightning-fast. I am not sure what the difference in software configuration is that could be causing this. I am using an Alienware R10, winsodws 11, NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti, 64g DDR4 Ram, Ryzen 9 3950x Processor, SSD and m.2 Drives. This performance drop happens on all versions of the public version, and the performance increase happens on the Beta version.
